7-14 21:50 : Jessica seen entering building with three other people (including a child) carrying a ton of disposable paper plates and grocery bags
7-14 21:59 Child is left alone in Penthouse
7-14 22:01 : Baby enters building with more people
7-14: 22:20 : Jessica re-enters building with three new people
7-14 23:18 : Security and building owner stop Jessica to explain that she can’t have guests outside of the original contract in the building. She agrees to contact AirBNB to add additional guests the next day (July 15th) The Building owner asks about a baby and Jessica admits that it is hers.
7-14 23:28 : Messaging with the host about it being reported that too many people are in the Penthouse. Host forwards Jessica a copy of her signed contracts.
7-14 22:33 : Host messages Jessica that security has told Host Jessica is having a “bunch” more people come and reiterates that it’s $45 per person extra.
7-14 23:47 : Another person enters the penthouse. (Up to 8?)
7-14 23:49 : Four (4) people are seen leaving the Penthouse (not including the baby)
7-14 23:54 : Jessica messages the Host saying that everyone has left that is not supposed to be there.
7-14 23:59 : Host messages back that security reports there are still additional people in the unit, including a baby
7-15 00:00 : Jessica tries to get Host to call her. *Host declines to take conversations off the AirBNB platform*
7-15 00:02 : Jessica confirms that the baby has left.
7-15 00:25 : A person enters the Penthouse.
7-15 00:26 : Two more people enter the Penthouse and are being loud in the common areas.
7-15 00:30 : One person enters penthouse
7-15 00:35 : One person exits
7-15 00:37 : One person enters
07-15 02:39 : Two people exit
FOUR PEOPLE REMAIN IN THE PENTHOUSE FOR THE NIGHT. THE BABY OR CHILD IS NEVER SEEN LEAVING AT THIS POINT
07-15 09:24 : Jessica and one other person leave, leaving the child and baby alone
07-15 09:41 : Jessica and guest re-entering apartment with full trash bags, being loud in the common area
7-15 09:55 : Jessica contacts the hosts to see how much it is to add additional people to the reservation. She is looking to add up to 10 extra people. Host reiterates that it is illegal in Chicago for AirBNBs to be used as party houses and that she isn’t sure if the hosts are going to approve of additional guests since Jessica already broke the rules/contract. Jessica denies having broken any rules.
07-15 10:50 : Jessica and guest go down to a tenant’s door and knock on it repeatedly. Building owner finds them and reminds them to call AirBNB to update the reservation and to leave his tenants alone.
7-15 14:58 : Host contacts Jessica due to a new noise complaint from earlier in the day. She also states that Jessica went up to another tenant’s unit in the building and was knocking on their door. Jessica denies this. Jessica once again tries to take communications off of AirBNB and Host declines.
7-15 18:10 : Jessica goes back to a tenant’s door and knocks again.
7-15 18:15 : Jessica returns and knocks on the tenant’s door again, more aggressively. Not getting an answer, she dials AirBNB on her phone on speaker in the common area.
07-15 18:16 : Still on speaker phone with AirBNB, but is now shouting for someone in the hall.
07-15 18:52 : Jessica returns to the tenant’s door and continues knocking and talking loud on the phone.
07-15 19:36 : Guests start entering the unit again (additional two guests)
7-15 20:48 : Host messages Jessica that there is *another* noise complaint as well as another reminder not to go knocking on other tenants doors and to “please be respectful”
7-15 21:36 : After no response from Jessica from previous messages, Host messages again that there is ANOTHER noise complaint and to please keep it down. Jessica responds that they are “just listening to music”. Host says, irregardless, be considerate of the other tenants and keep the music and noise down.
07-15 21:51 : Jessica updated reservation to 12 guests
07-15 21:52 : Jessica and guest enter building with large bags and a large cooler.
07-15 23:18 : Jessica lets three additional guest into the unit
07-15 23:21 : Jessica lets another guest in
07-15 23:53 : Jessica lets in five additional guests
07-16 00:33 : Guest count is now up to 19
07-16 00:46 : Building owner goes up and knocks on door, reminding them to keep it down and not to throw things off the roof. Asks them to turn the music down.
7-16 00:51 : Host messages Jessica in regards to another noise complaint and to also make sure that “nobody is throwing anything off the roof (no cigarettes, no bottles, etc)”
07-16 01:22-23 : Male guest and CHILD leave and re-enter building.
CHECKOUT 10AM
7-16 10:06 : Jessica exits with one other guest
7-16 10:15 : Two guests leave, but one turns around to go back upstairs and then the camera is turned off. At this point, it is counted that there are at least 12 people left in the unit, including 1 child and 1 baby.
~Camera Cuts out at 10:16 and isn’t back online until 10:31 when the building owner comes back to turn it on. It was unplugged and that is when the two tables were thrown down the stairs~
Jessica must have re-entered at some point between the cameras being turned off, because she is seen leaving the penthouse again at 10:28 after talking to the building owner about ‘someone’ knocking the tables over.
7-16 11:00 : Host messages Jessica in regard to the mess and chaos they left the penthouse in. Guests can be seen throwing tables down stairs. Jessica denies everything.
